Can a car be driven after the battery fuse is destroyed?
My car died after I had a new battery put in and drove a few days. I needed to have the old battery jumped twice the week before. The dealer says that the fuse on the battery was destroyed due to the person jumping it putting the cables on incorrectly, or the person who put the battery in putting it in backwards before correcting it. The dealership claims that I could drive the car until the battery lost its charge. The people who put the battery in claim that I could not have driven the car off their lot if they destroyed the fuse. Who is correct?
