Heated seats don't work

Asked by Apr 03, 2016 at 06:01 PM about the 2002 GMC Envoy 4 Dr SLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our 2002 GMC envoy has heated seats and now
you can't adjust the temp.  It is always on high and
is only in the seat not the back anymore.  Is there
fuses somewhere to fix this?

There is but if the seat heats at all it is not the fuse, most common is the element just gives out, my drivers side quit last year in my Yukon but it really never is too cold in my area so I didn't fix it. Its a lot of work to take out the seat and then disassemble it to replace the element pack and put back together. When it comes time to redo the seats I might fix it then.
