i had replaced the battery.then i replaced the ignition.i disconnecte the neg, battery terminal and removed the starter without disconnecting the wires on starter.then i replaced the negative wire back on battery an a second person turned the switch to start the vehicle.the starter hesitated an then died.it wasn't a countinous purr so i replaced starter.disconnect neg. wire an then take starter wires off.stater is in bad spot,if u have small hands it will b easier.
