my 1985 C-10pick will not start after it get worm

when the truck is warm  and I turn it off for just a few minutes then come back
to start it I get nothing as if the battery is totally dead, after about 45 minutes
then it starts just fine

Sounds like the starter /solinoid has issues . Field coil swelling or solinoid also double check that the starter cables isn't loose or burnt .this will cause the starts cold but not got problem . Soon it just won't start either way . Good luck
