Break lights not working

I have a 2002 Ford expedition with a break light
issue. I have one light the top third break light. I
have changed the bulbs and checked all the fuses
and replaced the break switch. I still have no break
lights. What I can I do to fix this problem. Any help
at all will be very great full.

a multi tester would help find where there's power /ground and where there's not , the brake lights may go through the directional switch , the 3rd light works because it's not shared with the directional , everything needs a good ground

I wire it to the top and mine is working I took a wire ran from top to right rear there is four wires tie into the black one

I had the same problem its a wire from the signal stack that comes loose just take off the plastic from the ignition its on top by the hazard light switch its you’ll probably see it

Well mine I had the problem after I hook up trailer si I was almost involved in accident I push the brake hard after that my brake lights went out so I check all fuses and wiring and everything was ok and I remove the brake switch and that was the problem is easy to fix one connector and one pin is above the brake pedal
