I have a 2002 expedition, all spark plugs were replaced 2 weeks ago, engine light came on again #5 has oil on it and also on the coil.Anyone know what it could be?
If the plug had oil on the electrode chances are you have lost compression in that cylinder or you may have a bad valve seal. Do a compression check to ensure all cylinders are within 15-20lbs of each other ... low compression can be valves or piston rings ... if compression is OK then oil may be coming from a bad seal ... the oil will foul the plug and it won't fire
