Do i replace my catalytic converter on my 2003 gmc envoy? It has 93000 miles. Will this be the start of alot of things wrong?

well there are a few things that can Kill a catalytic converter...the Intake Air Sensor may be telling the mix to go rich...the choke may be partially stuck on...locate the trouble, then get a new catalytic converter to pass your smog check~

Unless the check engine light is on and you're getting a catalytic converter trouble code or you're having drivability issues that have been traced to the catalytic converter don't change it. There's no replacement interval for the catalytic converter. Many last the life of the vehicle. HTH. -Jim
