The abs light came on and service maintenance as
Well as stillbar track. I was driving speed limit and
had to slow down because it felt like there was no
traction

Have the ABS codes read to know why the light came on. This requires a reader that can read ABS codes, not just a standard OBD2 reader. Was the road wet or icy?

ABS does not give you more traction it just keeps tires from skidding when you brake. You may need better tires but even with the best tires you need to slow down on ice and snow. StabiliTrak can keep your car from losing control in slippery conditions but only to a certain point, slowing down is still wise.
