Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Approx 2 weeks ago, got stuck in muddy
culvert ditch tried gunning but truck had
slipped gear.. tried shifting back and forth
from P to D. Nothing m. Turned off and on,
tried same... nothing. Eventually shifted to 1
and was able to fall in gear.. continued to
take off in 1 then shift to D and was working
for a bit.. until last night... heard a crack or
pop noise, slipped out of gear and wouldn’t
move.. eventually tried in 2. Worked fine for
one route but slipped again.. eventually hit
home after slipping in and out, restarting etc.
started researching and BF spot checked but
was very late and didn’t have have diagnostic
scanner on hand. Did provide 3 possibilities...
solenoids, torque, or plastic bushing... any
other possibilities or advice? Thank you in
advance.

Thank you.. I appreciate the info. we had tranny rebuilt approx Feb/March 2018. And shift changer bushing was replaced a month or so after.. So I’m crossing finger it’s the solenoids.
