Why isn't the climate control in rear working? Vents, etc

Question type: General

We've tried to get the rear AC/Heat to come on in the rear compartment of our Journey
but it just doesn't seem to work! Does anybody have any ideas on this?  The above head
blowers/vents have never worked since we got it but the front works great! I've tried
"sync" button & that didn't work either.

Go into your head unit and you will find a tab that shuts down rear blowers. We have a 2014 journey crossroad and it gets ice cold in the rear. As I dug through the options under climate I found a tab that shuts down and starts rear blowers. Hope this helps

Hey its possible Just on the right screen corner where it says rear climate ,Tap it and you'll find the unlock and lock air climate in rear so you can switch it back on or off whichever you like. Hope this helps.

I could not figure out why my heat wouldn't come on in the rear vents of my 2013 dodge journey sxt and although I hit rear climate and sync on my screen... I figured out that the one thing that made it work was when I hit the rear defog button!!! Took it about 5-10 minutes to actually blow hot air in both rear vents but that one button was the trick!!! Hope this helps!!!

Thank you Chrystina!! That crazy trick did it for my 2013 Dodge Journey. I have no idea why the rear defrost had anything to do with it. I turned it on and then off and now it still blows in the back! My kids thank you!
