ford focus SE 2014. any problems? buy or not buy new?

I have a chance to get a great deal on a new 2014 Ford Focus SE. saw a few reviews
some good and a few bad regarding transmission issues. any feedback?

My grandson purchased a 2014 focus about 4 weeks ago. He drove it about 140 miles to a concert, at 1 o'clock in the morning he was leaving the concert and the car would not stay running. It would start then stop, then it wouldn't run. Can you shine some light on this problem

bought a Ford Focus 2014se hatchback drove it 100 miles from pierre,sd on friday and now today it says Service engine Soon, I will never buy a another ford focus. they at ford sock it to you.

Had clutch replaced, shorts in circuits, and my alternator went bad with a 2015
