Battery sesnor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My kia optima has a  blown fuse 180A on the
positive cable and there's a sensor for the negative
cable can I just buy a regular negative cable and
switch that in place of the old negative sensor
cable or would that hurt the car

minh I found out it was the amp fuses connected to the battery I had colors with a amplifier and sub running of the battery the only go thing is that the battery fuses blow before making anything worse

Thanks for your respond. My question is actually regarding the negative terminal cable with sensor. Did you find out whether it's ok to replace it with a regular cable without a sensor

I just replace the fuse I needed a 180amp fuse it's not a common kia dealer part I had to go to a site called kiapartsnow.com they also have a 150amp fuse

no I don't know I friend told me to always go the cheapest route first
