2014 audi a8l 4.0t awd
Hey ladies and gentlemen, I'm new to the audi
scene since one of my older friends has purchased
a 2014 a8l 4.0t. What a luxurious vehicle, and now I
get the job to perform the maintenance schedule
on it for him. As meticulous as some of us are with
our vehicles he depends on me to help him with all
his vehicles. In short, we are at the 55,000 mile
mark. Does anybody have the time to point me in
the right direction as to what is or is not necessary
on the pm schedule. For example, I'm looking at
these rotors and the pads look like they have
another 50k left on them but the rotors are
scorched..... hard pads I suppose.. it's this kinda
stuff that makes me wonder if turning the rotors
would even be an option.
Thanks for any input.
Is there a maintenance schedule in the glove box inside the owners manual? You can search for one online. I change brakes when the pads are worn or they make noise. Don't turn or machine the rotors. Pricing for rotors are cheap enough to just swap out with new. Use this site for decent brand parts....www.fcpeuro.com
