I was driving my 06 crown Vic from Columbia it
started to whine and wouldn't drive in D gear so I
drove it in second ,it backs up fine only problem it
only drives in 1 and 2 and gear what can be the
problem?

if not low on fluid. maybe a speed sensor if equipped with
