Starter has blown out twice.

After I started the car my starter, started up and wouldn't stop running. Had I known as I know now that it would burn out my start, I would had cut the car off immediately. Now after replacing the starter with a new one a couple days the same thing happened and a brand new starter burned. I removed the new burned starter and replaced it again. Now this morning it tried to do the same thing after starting it up but I cut it off in time did it four times but caught it in time. Any ideas anyone?

Check the crank power wire, it should only have power on it while the key is in crank mode, no other time, the other thing to check is the power and grounds, if one is weak that can also cause the same problem. HTH
