Check Engine Light

Asked by Mar 31, 2014 at 03:01 PM about the 1999 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

Question type: General

If check engine light is on but not flashing will it use more gas

1 Answer

It depends on what the code is and how it affects the engine performance. I would get the codes and then go from there. An auto parts store will let you use an OBD-II scanner and retrieve the codes.
