Asked by Rick_James_Bish Nov 29, 2014 at 09:59 AM about the 2014 Ford Escape Titanium AWD

Question type: General

In the menu options that you
access through steering wheel
controls there is an option
under settings, lighting,
dimming  for auto or manual.
No mention in manual that I can
find. What does this do ?

When you go to 'settings' on steering wheel information is displayed on dash, between speedometer and tach. It's explained there on Page 88 in manual. But is an option..you might not have it

Page 88 in my manual has no reference lighting. Page 90 shows the menu structure... Lighting > Dimmer > Auto/Manual.. but I already know how to get to it. I am trying to find out what its suppose to do.
