2014 ford explorer, third row seat is jammed in down position, seats won't return to up. Anything I can do manually?
Third row seats were down, there seems to be power to the area of the car, the power outlets in the back work, the seat won't return to upright position...no electric motor noises
With a vehicle still in warranty, I'd bring it back to the dealership. You can always remove the seat, turn it upside down, and see if you can determine the problem with the release. I suspect when the seat was down, it was pushed down hard to the point where the upper pressure from the foam inside the seats is pressing upward, applying a lot of force. Try pushing down on the seat back to lessen the pressure on the locking clasp.
