I'll bet , Those were kind of transition years from carb to EFI and can be a bad of snakes . Start with the basics after you learn their functions as it would be difficult without being there to help

A factory shop manual will have the diagrams. Try ebay for a good used one or Faxon Auto Literature. Faxon has a website. Hope that helps! Jim
