i have a 1985 chevy blazer it has a automatic tailgate window how do i tell if the window motor is bad or if its the wireing. you cant open the tailgate if the window wont roll down.. is there a manu

Best way would be to verify that you have 12vdc at the window motor. Removing the plug from the motor, have someone hold the window switch up and down. With the use of a volt meter, test for voltage. If you have voltage getting to the motor, chances are the motor is bad.
