The chips do change some sensor presets, do you have a check engine light on?


Only when the problem occurs does the check engine light come on. When I start up, if the light stays on, I know it's going to be an issue for that trip. Few times I've shut her down and restarted with that resolving the issue


Then there should be a stored code in the system, get the codes checked, it might be something other than the chip messing up, most of the performance chips I have ran a crossed will not interfere with engine control system diagnostics.
