how long can u drive a car with a bad cylinder # 3

very hard to get up hills slow moving

it will be shaky, slow, and depending on how it is "dead" could mess up the catalytic converter. It wont pass emissions. If your gonna drive it like this try to find a way to cut fuel to that cylinder. May be as simple as unplugging the injector. I would suggest fixing it however.
