My 1989 s-10 4.3L drops a Cylinder when I put it in gear. What should I check?

the ignition wires may be weak and the motor mounts are causing the ignition wires to short-out~

that's right roy, and a corroded plug also. current finds the path of least resistance and it may find it easer to jump out of the wire ,hang on to the wire you'll find out !
