Why is my injectors spraying fuel even if I'm not turning over the engine

All modern fuel systems work that way. Because as soon as you turn the key to the 'on' position, the fuel pump is activated and the fuel system pressurizes so there will be enough fuel for you to start the car when you turn the key to crank the car over.

they should not be spraying with the engine not cranking, we control the the injectors with a ground inside the ecm (engine control module) the injectors always have power, a simple test would be to disconnect the ecm jump the fuel pump on and if they continue to spray the control wire is shorted to ground or the injector are stuck open, if it doesnt spray the ecm is no good

If they are spraying all the time with the key then the most common is a shorted injector driver inside the ECM, the next problem is the injector driver wire is shorted to ground. HTH
