Trouble idling

I have a 82 elcamino 350 motor with 80,000
miles on it when I first got it 2 days ago it
ran good no problems went to start it up
today it took a sec to start, then it idle
cleanly for about 20 sec and starts to fight
to stay on. I lightly press the gas it says on
now I mean just a little push can even tell
the difference in motor sound. I'm new to a
older engines would like some advice pls
