2.8l Chevy 60* v6 to a Buick 3.8

Asked by Jun 30, 2017 at 06:08 PM about the 1989 Chevrolet S-10 EL Standard Cab 4WD SB

Question type: Car Customization

Would the transverse mounted buick 3.l V6 work in say a S-10 with the 2.8l v6?  I know the bell housing pattern is the same.  I would be using my intake and throttle body.
I mostly wondering if I will need to modify my engine mounts.
