88 Chevy S10 transmission fluid

I have an Chevy S10 with a 2.5 motor 5 speed
transmission and the tranny went out on it so
my husband is putting another in it same kind
will wolf's head automatic transmission fluid
work to put back in it

I don't think putting automatic transmission fluid in a 5 speed manual transmission is a good plan. Manuals usually take heavy weight oil as their fluid. Check with a reliable trans shop before you add anything.

Your local auto parts store will tell you what kind of fluid to put in there. Automatic transmission fluid goes in an automatic transmission, gear oil goes in a manual transmission. Hope that helps! Jim
