Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 1989 f250 with a 460 in it I
bought the truck not long ago there is oil
build up on the bottom of the motor and all
over the transmission I knew there was an
oil leak but it did not look bad when I
moved it when I bought it but now it's
leaking oil like crazy I replaced the oil drain
bolt  gasket and there is still an oil leak but
why is it all over on the bottom of the
engine and transmission

Probably the oil pan gasket and or the valve cover gaskets. Easy fix. Oil leaks travel back along the transmission when you drive the vehicle from wind resistance.
