This is a low miles truck one owner and the problem just started a couple days ago. You

Hello, With the 351 and fuel injection, you aren't doing much pressing the accelerator -- by moving the throttle plate -- other than activating the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)... I would check your codes, and if fuel pump/pressure/filter are OK, I would suspect the TPS... I have always said of Fords of that era, they need a TPS in the glovebox just in case....! And Just One More Thing... Reason for code checking... An open coolant temp sensor on models with the 302 or 351 will tell the computer that the engine is fully hot, and barely give enough fuel to start...and barely enough to run and gain speed. And, They Won't always set a code. Hope this Helps, AskTrannyMan
