I have a 1986 f250 with a 460 engine, 3 speed automatic transmission, can i get a 4 speed trans or anything like overdrive for this vehicle?

A 4 speed manual was an option. If you can find a donor truck with the parts it should be fairly easy to convert it. You could also look into changing the rear differential to a higher gear ratio (low numerical number).

true they also make a hone overdrive that fits in between your trans tailshaft and diff... search hone o drive or hone overdrive...they work they best of both worlds.
