I have a 1982 F250.  351windsor, 2 barrel won't start.  Have checked or replaced everything  through the fuel filter. only starts, only barely, with starting fluid. what's next , new carburetor?

You really don't give enough info. Has the truck been in storage for any length of time without starting? Was it running fine and suddenly quit? Please give me more info and background. The truck is over 30 years old and all sorts of things could go wrong now.

I can get fuel through the gas line to the base of the carburetor. The truck had been sitting. has not run in over 1 year. Replaced fuel tank, sending unit, filters, Should open up the carburetor and check the float?

Could well be a stuck float or accellerator pump bad. Carb is where to start from here
