1989 4.9 I-6 something draining my battery.

I have - 1989 ford f150 4.9 -6 my battery dies overnight. There seems to be a hissing
sound like a electronic part still on when I shut the engine down.it seems to be coming
from the back of block. Help need assistance

Make sure there are no lights staying on ,dome, glove box under hood.

Had the same problem with my Windstar. disconnect battery ground and use a test meter. hook one side to battery terminal and other lead to battery cable. should read .60 millie amps if not start pulling fuses until u find the right one. might have to tape sensor for doom light. mine was reading 1.7 millie amps. parasitic draw is what it is called
