Heater control cable.
Trying to find a E7TZ18552 heater control cable (not the temp control cable). Prefer new but would settle for a good used one. Any leads would be appreciated.
Your best bet is going to be a wrecking yard at this point in time, sometimes E-bay will get some NOS but they are few and far between. Your part number is not complete anyway, there should be more number letter combo after the 18552.
I have a 1988 Ford F150 with minimal damage to the body and no rust. I have been trying to get an engine put in it (of which I have 2) for the last three years. One engine is a Jasper rebuild that I bought new and it was in the truck for about 500 miles or so but we could not keep the truck running when it went over 60 (it would die.) so I got the engine out of my sons 1990 F150 but the mounts are wrong and the guy that was working on it said he doesnt want to do it now because he doesnt have time. I was wondering if some of these parts you need could be on that and what I could actually get for everything if I were to try to sell it? I just wanted it to drive to work in the winter because I have a Mustang GT and as you know..they do not cooperate very well in the weather. Let me know if I would have that part for you and what if anything I could get for the rest. It is a 4WD also
My '88 have the manual heater controls (no vacuum). Instead of just the slide controls it has a blue button to engage the A/C. I have a new control head and temperature control cable. Just need the heater control cable. If you have the correct item I would be interested in purchasing it.
