Did you check for primary voltage at ignition coil, key on? Use a test lite to check. Does the dist rotor turn, when you crank it?
In the old days, to hot wire, you could run a voltage wire from positive side of battery to positive side of ignition coil, jump starter motor to get it cranking, then your on your way, no key. That was no computer era for vehicles. Yeah, I'm an old man, I have worked on vehicles that didn't have a computer, in my younger years. I'm not saying that will work on your computer vehicle? Note the diagram for ignition coil, primary voltage for ignition coil, comes from ignition switch. I can't guarantee the wiring diagram is accurate, but, it's all I have. good luck
Yea I jumped the coil still no put a spark plug in coil wire still no spark i'm up there too
If you run voltage to coil, both positive and negative terminals at coil are hot, correct? Then, the ignition module pulses the ground. Other than what I posted, I don't know?
I would imagine its a new coil so I dont know its to hot to play with it for a long time at once so ill do it again tomorrow morning
