Are you getting fuel pressure?

Dont know yet..will check that tommorrow..thanks

An 86 with points, that should be solid state ignition on that rig, if it spins really fast that means no or low compression, test the compression, did you also replace the condenser you should always replace as a set of points and condenser, put a little point cam lube on it make sure the gap is set correctly, and then see if the coil sparks when you crank it over, if no spark then check for power to the coil positive wire in both run and crank positions on the key, if you have power then replace the ignition coil and recheck for spark. So if you have fuel, spark at the plugs and compression it should fire up.

you need 40lbs to open injectors. Also may want to check for spark as well. check your relays and even your fuses just to be clear of any of that. last thing I would suggest is your crank sensor.

Daniel do you think you could help me out with this one?

Or tennisshoes?

Breakman I'm not sure what he's got, an 86 with points, maybe it be a transplant.

What was the reason u replaced points and rotor, was it running ok prior?

Make sure the distributor is actually turning because these have a plastic gear that turns it and strips out
