"Where to go" is to a good mechanic- that is a simple machine, and it should be easy to figure it out- if it just started with the high idle, check your accelerator linkage all the way from the pedal to the carb- maybe some piece of linkage got tweaked- if you want to fix your own truck, you will need vision and perseverance- and a shop manual and some tools-

Look around the carb, make sure all little vacuum hoses are connected- check that your choke is not stickin'
