I have a 86 ford f150 when I turn on the blinkers the rear just show hazards what's wrong with it is it a ground or relay
Either the wiring running under the left side of the truck is damaged or shorted OR your turn signal switch has failed internally. Often it's the turn signal switch because of time and debris falling into it through the hazard switch. Have you tried cycling the hazard switch several times to see if that helps at all?
I agree, it sounds like a bad directional switch. If they are flashing, obviously your flasher is good. Just the circuitry is faulty.
I have followed the electrical lines and can't find any shorts or anything I was also told it could be a relay somewhere in the truck I don't know Mich about electrical stuff in a truck so I honest don't really know where to find anything to test it
