what's the problem

Asked by donald1957 Jun 12, 2014 at 03:08 PM about the 1985 Ford F-150 STD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 1985 ford f-150, it started jurking when you drive and sometimes spitting and
spudders,I have double tanks, i changed the fuel transfer pump on the frame and the fuel
pump in the front tank, I also changed the fuel filter, I have never used the rear tank but
the fuel pump works. I took the plug off the EGR and let the truck run no change. I have
not found a vaccum leak, could it be the plug wires or distributer.
