I have a 1985 Ford F 150 inline 6 300 CI it has a rough idle and I was driving down the highway in 4th gear and it started sputtering sorry going up a hill and died and now it won't start again
recently I replaced the whole distributor
rotor and cap d the module on top or on the
side of the distributor
Have you check for the usual, spark, fuel, compression. As you stated climbing a hill it could be fuel related.
Now I get doRk but when I go to StRyker it again I won't short maybe
? your last answer
If this vehicle is a EfI electronic fuel inject the fuel filter may be clogged ..its on frame under driver door ( I believe that's its location) when filter is removed blow through the inlet side flow should be easy.. when draining fuel from filter, see how dirty or clean . more then likely it is your fuel pump in fuel tank.. I myself rather remove bed then fighting fuel lines, straps, draining tank etc.
