When buying long distance I strongly recommend having the vehicles inspected by a professional inspection company. It costs about $150. I've used lemonsquad.com. The company will spend a few hours with the car, drive it, and take a lot of photos. You'll get an inspection report and the photos to review before you make your final decision. HTH. -Jim

Its only a few hours away im most likely doing to make the drive but i dont want to waste the gas if i can find an answer online. I heard the XL doesnt come with the 4.0 engine only the Xlt does. but i also heard if its manual windows it cant be an XLT.

I see. Well, your local Ford Dealer may be able to provide you with a definite answer. Especially if you have the vehicle identification number. HTH. -Jim

Just get the VIN number and take it to your Ford dealer and ask them nicely to give you a printout of the delivered equipment it came with. I've done this on 5 occasions both Ford and Chev. They always did it at no cost.
