What is the advance timing for a 1988 GMC Sierra SLE? It is a V-8 with the 5.7 L.

Just bought the truck and am trying to tune it up.  Just need to know what the advance timing is supposed to be.

The timing is computer controlled, you have to unplug the timing connector and set the base timing, the stock setting for your year is 0 degrees, get the bade set the shut it off and reconnect the connector and restart, after idle stabilizes it is done.
