The light on my dashboard for my odometer lights up but does not show me the mileage or anything That's suppose to

Sounds like the display is bad. This is a hard one to diagnosis. Your best bet is to take it to a known good repair shop. The parts involved with this are expensive and non returnable. I would hate to see you buy big money parts to not get your problem fixed
