I have light issues on my truck,l how do I fix it?
So I bought a 1990 Dodge Dakota 4x4. Problem was, brake lights didn't work, couple broken bulbs, and the headlights didn't work. Well. After messing with the fuse box today, I got the brake lights working, no headlights though, but then everything stopped working. Only the turn signals worked. I spent all daywroking on this. Bought a whole new fuse kit, replace every fuse. Replaced every bad bulb except for headlights. Well, at first, I got the lights to work with the exception of the headlights, but then they cut off again. Then I discovered hitting the brakes while turning on park lights/running lights cut the running lights off. Eventually I got it working, but with the same problem. It would stop working or it would start and hitting the brakes would cut the lights off. And I eventually bought new headlights, installed those. But the headlights don't come on. I did try a brand new headlight switch, but that didn't work either. I need this vehicle, I got a good deal on it, but I don't understand this issue enough. What do I do from here?
