When a new car dealer on this site grossly misleads me about an advertised vehicle, what should I do?
I saw their ad on your site, called and asked lots if ?'s to be sure it was the advertised
vehicle, then drove out of my way considerably to see the car.
When i arrived, i was greeted warmly, then shown the "advertised vehicle, which was not
what i saw in the ad, nor what I was very clear to ask about.
Then i got a big runaround by the salesperson and the sales manager... Was told they
didn't even advertise on your site.
Yet I see not only the ad I saw, but multiple listings.
What happened to basic truth and honesty?
Your telling me! people these days never cease to amaze me. Greed drives everything and its out of control just look at the national debt and the fools running our country. Common sense and decency are out the window.
Even though they showed you the wrong car, that is just wrong. But the way I found some cars in the past through Cargurus is they are listed on OTHER sites and copied by Cargurus, so you can find listings on this site that were never actual posted here. Tell me if I'm worng.
I also believe that Google places ad's based on a clients needs, and so you or in this case Car Gurus may get many ad's that they don't ask for and have very little control over.
