How do you reset a computer on a 91 dodge dynasty with a 3.3
Sounds like a bad coil pack. HTH. -Jim
Have already tried coil pack. Same two cylinders weak with new coil pack
Ok, see if the fuel injectors for those 2 cylinders are spraying. If they are, compression test those 2 cylinders. HTH. -Jim
How do you test? One plug is wet and one is dry.
Wet with gasoline or coolant? What color is the tip of the dry one? Is it oily, or does it have dry black fluffy deposits, or dry white deposits, or greyish deposits? Can you post pictures? You're sure that you have spark to those cylinders, correct? For a compression test you'll need a compression tester. HTH. -Jim
Color of the dry looks just like a plug out the box. The wet one is black and smells like gas. I let car run with plugs on top of motor they are firing. I also have 75 pounds of Compression on #6 and 80 on #3
With the low compression readings on those two cylinders they won't fire. Sounds like the valves are burned and not closing properly. You'll need a valve job to restore the engine to proper operating condition. A valve job is rather expensive. In my opinion it's not worth fixing. HTH. -Jim
