i have a 1989 chev cavailier Z24 2.8 i went through some water well i got home and it would'nt start back up, so it was the start now i have no spark. i new coils on it and it sill wont start, it ran good unil i went through the water. it was about a foot deep. there no water in the block

Ignition control module... It's a computer panel that the IGNITION COILS plug in to.. I guarantee u yours is fried bcus of water.. 1 foot deep.. Yes sir.. That's all it takes to mess those up. I been tru same issue.
