My ac only blows upwards thru my defroster

How do I get it to blow through the front
vents?

There's a vacuum hose that goes from the intake manifold, through the firewall, to the control panel on the dash board. It's disconnected. When the system loses vacuum it defaults to defrost for safety reasons. HTH. -Jim

Hoses were checked. .even switched out the setting selector thing in the dash. ..will check again tho

There are several doors and vacuum actuators behind the dash. For air to come out of the dash vents you need vacuum at the "mode door" actuator and vacuum at the "defrost door" actuator. This keeps the defrost door closed and, at the same time, directs air to the dash vents instead of the floor (heater) vent. HTH. -Jim

would this cause the engine any other type of issue?

My ac blows from the bottom vent and top vent but not to the ac vent to the driver or passanger
