Remote throttle linkage solenoid activator

Asked by juke24 Aug 17, 2013 at 07:09 PM about the 1984 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: Car Customization

I need to simulate the gas pedal being depressed once, and released, remotely. Then I can start my car remotely with a remote starter. I'm guessing some kind of 2 position electric solenoid, that could run off the car battery and be activated remotely.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm wondering if someone has put something together, for use on classic cars.
Thank you,

yes...take a look a model airplanes, gliders and cars to see a vast array of radio controlled servos....perhaps one of these r/c setups could be employed~
