92 Stealth Transmission problems

Asked by kwhittinghill Oct 09, 2011 at 08:41 PM about the 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 1992 Dodge Stealth that we are having Transmission problems with.  Just had a rebuilt Jasper Transmission put in over a year ago.  Will start up and run for a while, can drive it for about an thirty minutes to an hour and then will stop pulling all together.  Has all gears for the time period listed above and then will have no gears at all.  Can wait for an hour or more and then restart and drive again with all gears and again will quit pulling.  Is there anyone who might know what is wrong with it?  We have had the transmission taken apart and can't see what is going wrong to fix.
