03 focus stalls at idle
i have a 2003 focus, 2.0, 5 speed. 150k miles. its fine when its cold but occasionally after the motor warms up it stalls for no reason. its fine again hours later. it happens more so in warmer weather. its an intermittent problem. any suggestions?
Clean the throttle body and EGR, any vacuum leaks? Check engine light on?
not sure of any vacuum leaks. and no check engine light. took it to ford about 1 1/2 years ago. they changed a harness that pluges into the module that supplys all 4 spark plugs. 280.00 and it still wasn't fixed. I do understand intermittent problems are the hardest to find. thak you i'll check and clean both of those.
Check the iac solonoid for carbon this is the idle air controll solonoid and it provides the needed intake air for idle. It can be cleened
